A Calling, Not Just a Career
Caitlin Hopper has been drawn to birth work since long before she had the words for it — a deep, quiet knowing that this was the work she was made for. As a Certified Professional Midwife (CPM), she brings years of training and hands-on experience to every family she serves, alongside a faith that shapes everything about how she shows up in the birth space.
Caitlin completed her midwifery education and earned her CPM credential through the North American Registry of Midwives (NARM), the nationally recognized standard for out-of-hospital midwifery practice. She has attended births across Licking County and the surrounding communities of central Ohio, and she considers it one of the greatest privileges of her life.
Caitlin carries a deep, settled belief that God designed birth — that it is powerful, purposeful, and woven into His will from the very beginning. That conviction gives her a calm that families feel the moment she walks through the door. She is unhurried, unshakeable, and fully present, whether she is quietly monitoring a laboring mama, answering a question at 2 a.m., or simply sitting with a family in the sacred stillness after a baby is born. Her love of the natural world — the same Creator who shaped the mountains and the rivers also shaped the rhythm of birth — runs through everything she does, reminding her and the families she serves that this process was never meant to be feared.

What Guides Her Care
Faith
Caitlin's faith is the foundation of her practice. She believes God designed birth and that her role is to protect that sacred space with skill, presence, and trust in His design.
Safety
Evidence-based care and thorough preparation mean families can rest in the knowledge that Caitlin is ready for whatever birth brings — calm in the ordinary, capable in the unexpected.
Relationship
Caitlin invests deeply in every family she serves. Appointments feel like time with a trusted friend — unhurried, warm, and genuinely personal from the first prenatal visit to the final postpartum check.
Respect
Every woman deserves to be heard, honored, and fully informed. Caitlin walks alongside families as a guide and partner, never overriding the instincts and choices of the mothers in her care.
Beyond the Birth Bag
When she is not catching babies Caitlin treasures her role as a wife and mother. She is a proud mother of three, and a lover of all things family, faith, and the great outdoors. She finds joy in life's simple moments, whether it's spending time with her husband and children, riding horses, exploring new places, or enjoying the peace and beauty of nature. With an adventurous spirit and a love for the outdoors, Caitlin is happiest making memories with her family, whether they're traveling to the mountains, spending a day on the water, or enjoying life at home with their animals. Her Christian faith is at the heart of who she is, shaping the way she approaches life, motherhood, and the relationships she builds with others. She values genuine connections, meaningful conversations, and the beauty found in everyday moments.
